Jenni Falconer
Jenni Falconer has been a presenter in both television and radio for over 30 years! She is known for fronting live TV shows such as ITV1’s This Morning, Entertainment Today and GMTV; BBC1’s The National Lottery Show; Channel 5’s Britain’s Worst Celebrity Driver Live and live Channel 5 game show Wordplay, plus Sky1’s Cirque de Celebrité as well as being a regular host of West End red carpet premieres.
In 2013, she tried her hand at radio and started hosting Heart’s Early Breakfast. In 2020 she made the move to Smooth, to host the Breakfast Show, where she can currently be heard across the nation every weekday morning from 6-10am – the only solo female Breakfast Show Host in the UK.
Her passion is fitness, health and well-being and over the last 15 years, she has become a key figure in the UK running community so much so that she decided to create a podcast all about it! In 2019, she founded the hugely successful podcast RunPod, and now, with well over 10m downloads, she continues to release 3 episodes weekly about the feelgood of running and is proud to have never missed a week. Jenni has drawn in a huge variety of guests from Mo Farah, Eliud Kipchoge and Dame Kelly Holmes, to Amanda Holden, Sam Ryder, Sadiq Khan and The Scummy Mummies!
She also hosts the successful travel podcast Routes where she interviews well-known names about their travel memories and experiences throughout their life and careers!!
Furthermore, she hosted 3 series of the award winning Women’s Golf Show podcast, whilst continuously working to encourage more women and girls to try the sport, which she took up (and LOVES) 6 years ago. In fact if she is not running, she is probably swinging a golf club on a course somewhere!
Born in Glasgow, before moving to Berkshire as a child, it was whilst at University in
Leeds studying Spanish, Italian and Latin that Jenni’s adventures in TV began, first with The Big Country for BBC Scotland, then the documentary series 3D and consumer show We Can Work It Out, both for ITV. A plethora of other projects followed including BBC’s Holiday, UKTV’s Fantasy Homes By the Sea, ITV’s How To Holiday and the BBC1 reality show for Sport Relief Only Fools on Horses.
2024 saw Jenni release her first book, Runner’s High and she also ran her 10th London Marathon in April 2025. She is a proud Ambassador for Sweaty Betty and works with them to empower women and girls from every background to get active.
In addition to motivating others to move, Jenni’s focus is very much on health and well-being. In 2020 she co-founded the supplement brand, Kollo Health, the most Award Winning collagen brand in the UK. Kollo Health goes from strength to strength and 2026 looks set to be a big year with even more products launching in January.
Jenni married James Midgley in 2010 and lives in London with their daughter Ella alongside pugalier Millie.
